Apparently I lost some of my accent. People have been looking at me funny when I'm out and about. I did buy this journal though, so that's something. Apparently, I can use it to catch up with people.
An update on my life:
My parents are fine. Dad stayed in the states, but he's interested in the disease.
My grandparents passed. They were good people, and they lead good, full lives.
I need a job. It doesn't look like I'll be going back to Boston anytime soon. I'm a little rusty on my magic truthfully. I could use a tutor.

Being married isn't that different from not being married. Major differences include not being cold at night and getting to eat better food.

Things are odd. Kade doesn't seem mad about what happened. He's just resigned himself to it. I wish I could be happier about this.
Kade's not bad. He's just not anything.
Life is very bland. Maybe the baby will make things more interesting.

I'm trying to plan a wedding, which is so very odd to me. There's so many plans to be made especially since I currently have no one to walk me down the aisle. I just want things to stay very small and personal. That'd probably be best.
Of course, Kade gets to make some of these decisions too.
[Private to Kaia and Mackenzie] I'd really love it if you two would be my bridesmaids.
[Private to Dustin] I know that Kade probably wants you to be the best man, but I thought that maybe you'd agree to walk me down the aisle. I know you're going through a lot right now, but I'd really appreciate it.
[Private to Self] Now I just have to pick a maid of honor. I should probably choose one of my friends from school, but I don't know who. I haven't talked to any of them in so long. Now, I'm going to have to ask one of them to play a very important part in my life.

I am the future Mrs. Kade Towler.

When I said in my last entry that I've been alone for the past few months, that wasn't necessarily true. In fact, it really wasn't true at all.
Shortly before they locked everyone in, Kade showed up on my doorstep. It was awkward at first; I hadn't seen him in a few years. I can't say I've kept the best contact with people - as you've very well noticed.
It helped having Kade there. I'd just lost my friends and family and boyfriend. Suddenly, a piece of my childhood was standing on my stoop.
I asked Kade to marry me right after I heard the announcement. I figured their was no other wizard that I'd want to spend my life with, and I wasn't about to let him leave without that agreed upon.

I have been alone for the past two months. I guess that's not entirely true, but close enough. I can't say I've kept in contact with the magical world as of late, and I'd almost expected the disease to take me. As you can see, I'm still here.
My parents are gone. Jonas and his new bride are dead. Now there's just me.
I had a boyfriend, too. David taught history. Now he's history.
I'm sure my students are all gone as well. I tried calling the school to see if anyone was there, but no one answered.
